The Virtual Handbook is a unique ad offering from About.com that contextually aligns our advertising partners' messaging with our expert, quality content via tabbed, expandable Rich Media units.
When a user arrives on one of our pages, the first tabbed panel displays our advertising partner's core message and can link out to third party sites, special offers, product information, videos, etc., - wherever the advertiser chooses.
On user rollover, the ad expands giving the user the option to click on an About.com Tips tab for additional content relevant to the advertiser's message provided by About.com's team of expert Guides and Editors.
